On the 16th of February 2021, the e-SMART partnership organized the second Transnational Living Lab under the title "The promotion of e-mobility in local public transport and last-mile-logistic from a territory's perspective". The main objective of the transnational living labs is to exchange on common challenges regarding regulation, implementation and policies of electrified Local Public Transport (LPT) and Last-Mile Logistics (LML). The Living Labs are attended by stakeholders familiar with the project, but also new interested actors and external experts willing to give insights into their respective fields of action.
The topics of the event were first addressed through a series of speeches from experts, and then after a quick online poll were discussed in smaller dedicated breakout sessions. The expert inputs were delivered by Martin Rheintaler, on a recent market study conducted in the city of Klagenfurt on joint electric charging infrastructure for LPT and LML.
